Sadly, George was returned to us. They said he struggled with separation anxiety and would be sometimes destructive to furniture in the home, but then he started angry peeing in the home. And heartbreakingly, this is the second time George was returned to us. George is a happy boy here and loves people and to snuggle. He ran around the room greeting everyone! When George was with us, he was very friendly with other dogs. But his previous family said he is not friendly with dogs anymore. We are working on this with him, but at the time, we think he would do best in a home without other pets. A little bit more about George as we know him: He is so kind and sweet, and seems to be great for everyone. We believe he is about 8. At his vet check, he was so friendly with Dr. Andrea and was giving kisses and wanted belly rubs! We updated his overdue vaccines and drew some blood to do a senior bloodwork check, which he was a great patient for. His bloodwork was all normal! His previous owners said he has a history of seizures, but only had one in the past year and was not on any medication for seizures. For now, since his bloodwork returned normal, we are going to continue to monitor.
