Reservation fees are non refundable unless we do not have enough puppies available. Puppy selection does not take place in person. You will receive puppy updates and videos leading up to selection. You can also follow the litter daily on our social media. Our puppies go to their forever families starting week 9 for families with adult children. Week 10 pups go home to families with kids you will thank me. Not all pups go home on the same day. Otherwise I find my moms get depressed. We are very firm on restrictions and precautions. There will be no visitation of puppies. You will meet your puppy on pickup day at approximately weeks. We will follow the appropriate Parvovirus precautions at your pick up appointment. To be blunt, if this happened, all of the puppies would die a horrible and suffering death. Parvovirus lives in the dirt on the ground. You would have no way of knowing that you were in contact with it. We are very active in social media with multiple daily posts to follow your puppy. As well, you will receive a minimum of one personal puppy update weekly. Our adult dogs are DNA tested to rule out potential genetic defects or illnesses that could be passed to our pups and come with a clear DNA pannel screen. Their X-rays have been scrutinized by the OFA and have positive rankings. Puppies will NOT be sold with breeding rights. Puppies are also sold on a Strict Spay-Neuter Contract. Firstly, you need to remember that your puppy has only had 1 vaccination and therefore, it is very dangerous to take the puppy out to public places where a lot of people will be tempted to touch him or her. Also, do not take them to any public grass areas such as dog parks until the puppy has received all of their vaccines this puts the puppy at risk of contracting issues from other animals. Hold and cuddle the puppy as much as you can to help with the bonding and they will learn to want cuddles. Expect that there will be a few accidents until they learn the acceptable dog run area. Expect that when you put the puppy in the crate for the night, they will whimper and cry. Be patient, just talk to them and reassure them that they are not alone. Every night it will get better! And when the puppy wakes and begins to whimper in the middle of the night — RUN, they need to pee! Remember, they are just babies and every day will get easier.
