The Boxers we rescue have had many medical and behavior issues. We have limited Foster Homes and have to match the new rescue Boxer to the right home and that can be a challenge. We have to stay within our means. We are not set up for emergencies or to take strays while trying to find the owner. We do refer to other rescues that may be able to help. These dogs are either given away or end up in local animal shelters. Today, there are individual and groups of people who rescue boxers, give them the veterinary care they need and strive to place them in loving homes. There are, for the most part, nothing wrong with these dogs. They need a bit of TLC and patience and can very easily become a cherished member of the household.
