A new companion for his year-old Shepherd, Thor. Then Saturday afternoon, he got that feeling no pet owner wants to feel: your dog not being where you left them last. I told him my dog was gone. The driver is seen leaving the car. That black dot running around in the video is the puppy, Storm. The original driver in red struggles to grab the puppy over the fence but eventually does. They then run to the passenger side and the car takes off. But as of now, Houlden and the community are working together and going to great lengths to find this puppy. She screamed when she saw three people, dressed in tuques and hoodies, running from the scene carrying the puppies—each weighing around 20 pounds — before escaping in a dark-coloured SUV. Skaland-Kolotylo said the thieves tried to make away with all 10 of their puppies but dropped one in their haste. It is unknown how they were returned. The family is concerned for the puppies' health, as they are young and have not yet been vaccinated. Part of the family Skaland-Kolotylo says her children are devastated, having developed a close bond with the puppies, playing with them every day.
