If your dog is deficient in manganese, it will usually show as weakened ligaments and connective tissue that can cause joint issues such as cruciate tears. If your dog is very active, you may need to feed a little more. And if your dog is more of a couch potato, you may need to feed a little less. And for pups six month to 1 year old, do two portions. Spread these meals out over the day at three to four hourly intervals. If your three-month-old puppy only wants to eat twice a day and is thriving, then that is OK. Adult Dogs and Fasting Adults can eat once or twice a day. It is up to you and your dog.
