I kept the hemostat on the cord for about 2 minutes to let it clout. The umbilical cord dries up quickly and then within a day or 2 it falls off. Raven was a good mama and took care of her poops. While caring for Raven and her litter Raven was really blowing out her coat that first week, but as time went on it slowed down.
