I am fully crate and house trained, so no worries there and I've been working hard on my leash manners as I can be reactive on walks. On good days I may not react to anything, but on bad days I may react to cars, dogs that react to me and skateboarders. I am learning to "shake it off" more now and have been consistently improving. I have been taking CBD oil and it has definitely helped me chill out. My foster parents say that I'm a super sweet guys who just wants to be a lap dog all the time. It's true, I love cuddles all the time and hanging out on the couch at night with you is my favourite. During the day I love to chase balls and play in the yard. I would love it if you could help me keep working on that! I have done a lot of training lately and have participated in an online class with Pliant Pack Dog Training. I'm hoping that my new family will continue taking courses with me so I can keep growing and learning. I can be reactive but it has gotten so much better already, I just need some help to learn that cars and other dogs aren't so scary. I do best with positive reinforcement and someone who will talk to me when scary stuff is happening around me so that I know I'll be ok. I have been muzzle trained which comes in super handy, I sit perfectly to put it on now and it's been a great asset to my training! I will need an experienced handler but I know that MUR will set us both up for success. Training Levels and Pricing We offer three different levels of training; The Intermediate Level Training program is 5-weeks, at completion, the puppy will be 13 weeks old. At this age the puppies will have been introduced to crate training, and should have very few accidents in their kennel. They should be sleeping through the night hours. The puppies will also be properly socialized to many different sounds, people, places, etc. They will be introduced to all of the commands in the advanced training program however 13 weeks old is still very young and you should not expect a dog at this age to be very reliable in obeying commands; comprehension and proficiency can vary greatly. This level is more for people who are unable to pick their puppy up at the 8 week go home date or are looking for just a little more potty training and have the puppy introduced to the basics. She's been having lots o puppy fun.Her disposition is just what I wanted.Coordination and risk taking are fun to watch develop, very gentle mouth but lots o puppy chewing, pretty smart.Maui is so sweet! She's about knee high with a soft beautiful brown coat. I'll try to post some pics of her. Maui loves to play with other doodles more than anything. I'm almost ready for another puppy.She is now 17lbs and has most of her adult teeth. Sadie is very smart and eager to please. Now that it is winter, we go snow shoeing every day for an hour or two and he runs around off leash. To get him used to other dogs we joined a training group this month and he we are doing great. I should mention that we had him fixed in October. So, we are very pleased with Murphy. We often have family and friends with us on weekends and holidays and everyone loves him. I have always admired the liver coloration and wanted to incorporate liver into my breeding program; however, I found it to be difficult in the beginning to find them especially with AKC full registration as the breeders that did allow them to live, only sold on limited registration for fear that they were not as healthy as their colored siblings. I came across a litter of four liver female puppies and between myself and my best friend, Dawn, we rounded up three of the four, and the last sister went to a fellow liver lover. My search was far from over since the liver gene is inherited autosomal recessive I had to find a male that carried liver or was liver himself.
