Free Stuff I had always wanted a pug. It began with our family dog, Oz. A German Shepard cross Malamute. The very dog that l named after a Buffy the Vampire Slayer character. I looked at these tiny 2 week old pugs and picked up this little black one. And right there, that was the moment my life changed. With a little black pug I called Ref. Fast forward 3 years I felt like shit cause every single time I took Ref to the vet, they said he needed to lose weight. He was on half the recommended amount of kibble and some home cooked meat and veggies. How much more could I reduce his food? It was time to find some other way to get the weight off. I came across some websites about raw feeding. With so many resources, I got an easy recipe by a pet nutritionist to follow and switched Ref to raw. Six weeks after removing kibble and feeding real fresh food, I noticed a massive change in him. He became calmer. So much calmer. And for the first time, he was losing some weight. From then on, I wanted to learn more. I wanted to have a healthier pug. I wanted to do everything I could to make sure Ref was going to live a long life.
