A little over a week ago one of our team members saw a little golden dog running around a neighborhood under construction that is very close to a well known dog dumping ground. She spent hours that evening trying to catch her, and along the way was informed by a number of other people in the neighborhood that the dog had been a stray for well over a month and lived in a swampy preserve within the neighborhood. The folks in the neighborhood had named the dog Dellie after the community's name. Dellie was obviously terrified, and we have no idea how long she'd gone without human interaction.
