Stacking boxes are really helpful in teaching the dog muscle memory of the correct position to stand in. I recommend introducing the dog to the stacking box as soon as you start your stack training as this will help you move quickly through your free stack and hand stack training, as well as for teaching the dog to stay and allow you to get some distance from your dog. I do not recommend putting a dog on a stacking box on a grooming table and noose forcing him to stand for long periods of time. Stacking box training should be fun. Attach the matting using a staple gun you could also glue this, probably, but I am too impatient to wait for glue to dry.
