All of our parents have their hips, elbows and patellas x-rayed by a certified OFA Vet and the x-rays are sent to OFA for independent expert evaluation. High Quality Of Care Quality of care is very important when looking for a breeder. There are a number of things that indicate that a breeder is taking good care of their puppies: Vaccinating and using preventatives for their puppies. In regular contact with their vet and regularly has their breeding dogs and puppies health checked. Red Flags There are a few red flags to watch out for that might suggest a breeder is not trustworthy. These red flags might mean you have found a puppy mill or backyard breeder and should do some more investigation. If they are reluctant to share pedigree and health records about the parent dogs, you might not actually be buying a Mini Goldendoodle. Secretive behaviors might mean that the parents are not exactly who they say they are. Not specifying what size the puppies are is another red flag.
