Apricot vs Red Labradoodle The main difference between an Apricot Labradoodle and a Red Labradoodle is the intensity of the red color of their coat. Apricot Labradoodles often have peachy undertones in their coat and sometimes they are so light that they are nearly cream in color. Wavy and curly coats are the most common while straight coats are usually seen in reverse Labradoodle generations where the Labradoodle has been bred back to a Labrador Retriever instead of a Poodle. Their coats feature light, loose waves and give Labradoodles a teddy bear appearance. You usually find Red Labradoodles with wavy coats in first generation litters. Red Labradoodle Curly Coat Curly coats are the next most common coat type. They are much denser and thicker than wavy coats and more closely resemble the coat of a Poodle.
